Welcome Back, Tigers!
We hope you all had a fantastic first week at school. Our PTA does incredible work for our school and community. Find out ways you can help and participate below! There's something for everyone.
We are looking for a parent volunteer!
Lighthouse Festival Chair Plans and Coordinates the Festival. Main duties of this chair (with the support of the PTA board and subcommittee members) include: acquiring sponsorships and donations, building auction baskets, setting up silent auction, hiring food and ride vendors, organizing the festival and games.
It’s a fun and rewarding experience! Email us with any questions.
Membership
Want to know how you can help out at Teravista Elementary? Join the PTA!
Help us reach our goal of one membership for every child at TVE. PTA memberships help pay for things like teacher grants, educational materials for our students and putting on our awesome Lighthouse Festival. There is no further obligation and you get discounts at some great businesses. Anyone can join - parents, children, grandparents, community members and everyone else.
Volunteering
Another great way to help? Get on the list!
We know that not everyone has time to volunteer in the building, but there are so many ways to help! We are building our list of people to reach out to when we need some extra hands. Sometimes, we just need help with donations!
In the meantime, fill out our Volunteer Interest Form and we'll be in touch when more opportunities come up.
We need Volunteers this week!
Teravista Elementary needs volunteers to help out with assisting kiddos to their classrooms for the first week of school! We need 4 people at the front door and 2 at the back door each day from 7:00am until the kids stop coming around 7:40ish.
To volunteer you must be approved by RRISD. Use this link to register

Parent Photo Submissions
We need your pictures! Did you snap some pictures from recent on-campus events? Please submit those photos to the Yearbook here. If you have any issues submitting pictures through the form, photos can be emailed to yearbook@teravistapta.com. Please include student's name, grade, and the event.
Yearbook Committee Reps Needed for 4th Grade and Kinder
The Yearbook Committee is looking for grade-level representatives for Kindergarten and 4th grade. The grade rep takes photos of special events and activities for that grade and creates a collage in our yearbook vendor's website.Â
No photography or yearbook experience is necessary and you can use your cell phone camera (or a fancy camera is great, too!). Time commitment is attending important events (as your schedule allows), then selecting a few best photos to upload into the yearbook vendor website for the grade-level-collage page.Â

On-going Volunteer Opportunities
Teravista Library 📚📖📘
We are always looking for volunteers to help out in the Library. Whether you can help an hour a month to a couple of hours a week, we'd love to have you! Reach out to our Library Chair, Stephanie Sheridan if you're interested.
Clothes Closet 👕👚👖👟
The Clothes Closet helps Round Rock district families in need and is located at Voigt Elementary School AND Anderson Mill Elem. While there, you will help sort donations, hang clothes, and assist in filling electronic vouchers. This helps students from every single school. Sign up for a slot if you are able!
FAQ: Due to student privacy concerns, only parent volunteers are permitted when Clothes Closets are open for clients. If your student group would like to volunteer, we can set up special opportunities for them!
