With 2 weeks left until Winter Break, here's some info we want you to know!
We are still looking for a few volunteers, especially for Thursday after school.
We’re looking for people who can assist with book sales and clean-up. This is a fun and wonderful event for the kids! If you are interested and available to help, please sign up for a time slot.
The Giving Tree
Teravista Elementary's Annual Holiday Giving Campaign to Help Local Families
We are blessed to be able to continue our Holiday Giving Tree again this year. You can honor our Teravista families by making a meaningful donation. We are collecting gifts for the Holiday for students and their families that are in need of a little extra help this holiday season! If you want to make their holiday a little more magical, please select a gift to donate. Just look at the available slots and click on the button to sign up. Please send in your donations unwrapped and labeled by holiday name (gingerbread, snowman, reindeer, or jingle bell). Donations should be delivered to the Teravista school office, by the 12th of December.
Thank you so much for your support in this special endeavor.
CommUnity Fest is this Thursday, 12/8
Come visit the PTA table and get some hot cocoa!
Our Teravista community is so fortunate to be so wonderfully diverse. At CommUnity Fest, families will be able to teach each other about our school’s unique cultures. We hope to see you there!
We need your photos!
We are looking for photos of your students with their Veteran at the Veteran's Day program, at the Dart'em Up Spirit Night, the Thanksgiving and Holiday Lunches, or just your kiddos in some Spirit Wear!
Please share them with us for a chance to be featured in a spread of the 2022-2023 Teravista Yearbook. Just fill out the Yearbook Photo Submission form and upload your pictures.
If you have any trouble with this form, you can also email pics to yearbook@teravistapta.com. Please include student's name, grade, and the event.
Don't forget to order your Yearbook today for only $27! The price increases after December 30th.
Membership
Why are PTA memberships important?
PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) works to build strong relationships between families, schools and the community because we want the best educational experiences for our students. PTA memberships help achieve this goal by providing learning tools requested by teachers, programs where students can display their talents, leadership opportunities, and various platforms where members can make their voices heard on school issues that are important to them whether it be at the school level or the state and/or federal levels.
Did you know we also earned the Texas PTA Snappy Increase Award by reaching 100% of the previous year's total membership? Thank you to all who have joined us already this year. It's never to late to join us - become a member today!
Thank you to all who donated pies!
As always, the teachers and staff truly appreciated this treat.
