PTA Newsletter 10/30/2023

Updated: Nov 1, 2023

Happy Halloween Week! 🎃👻🖤🧡

There's a lot happening with the PTA this week, and beyond - make sure you stay up to date!

It's a close race to the finish line with Mrs. Gundersen's class leading the pack, but don't give up hope yet. You still have time to purchase memberships and earn your child's class entries to win a donut party! Anyone can join-students, parents, grandparents, community members.

The Scary Skele-bration is THIS FRIDAY, from 6-8pm!

Come join us for a night of spooky fun and marvelous mayhem. Wear those costumes one last time while you enjoy a fun night dancing with friends. Music will be provided by our very own Teravista neighborhood DJ, DJ Nolan of Moondance Entertainment. ADMISSION IS FREE! Snacks, drinks and glow items will be available for purchase.

We will not be accepting any other forms of payment. No bills over $20, please.

It's that time of year again!

Thanksgiving Pie Donations for our Staff

We love to spoil our teachers and staff, right before they take off for Thanksgiving break. Help us send them off with love by donating a pie for them to take home to their loved ones.

Store bought pies only please. All pies can be dropped off on Wednesday, 11/15, or Thursday, 11/16.

Have pictures of your child dressed up for Red Ribbon Week?

We'd love to feature them in this year's Yearbook

Please note: Pictures must be on school grounds or of the Wednesday Walk.

Celebrate your student's elementary school milestone by sending them a shout out in the yearbook! Recognition Ads are on sale here. Ads are $15 and are only offered for 5th grade students. 1/8 of a page is the only size available, though you may purchase more than one ad. Be sure to purchase a book if you have not already done so! Buy a yearbook here.

Save the Date: Reflections Ceremony

Thursday, November 9th @ 5pm in the Library

We are wrapping up our Teravista Reflections program and will send those who will advance onto the regional competition soon. To honor all of those who have participated, our PTA is hosting a Reflections Ceremony in our Teravista Elementary Library. All students who have entered artwork are welcome to attend. All artwork will be on display at the ceremony. Parents and siblings are welcome too!

School of Excellence Survey - We need YOU!

Two years ago, we had the honor of becoming a PTA School of Excellence. In order to keep that status, we need to hear from YOU! Help us figure out how the PTA can help improve your experience with our school. Please take a few minutes to take the survey below, in the language of your choice by November 11th.
