These positions are a great way to give back!

We are looking for nominations for the following positions:

Vice President 2

Secretary

Treasurer

Nominations must be received by April 12th.

Please email: communications@teravistapta.com for more information or to nominate.

Items Left in the Lost and Found on Friday 3/8 will be donated!

Please remember to check the Lost and Found for items your child may have misplaced. We will be clearing out the Lost and Found before Spring Break! If items are unclaimed, they are taken to the RRISD Clothes Closet and given to families in need. Read more about the Clothes Closet below.

RRISD Clothes Closet is "hiring" and they are still need of donations!

They are "hiring" extra managers and, in a new role, assistant managers. Both are volunteer roles, with the top criteria being consistent availability for 2-3 shifts per month (2 hour shifts), and a welcoming, supportive attitude - especially with folks whose primary language isn't English (fluent Spanish is a big plus!). Managers have a key and the potential for duties outside regular hours (e.g., assisting with large donation deliveries), and assistant managers will only serve on-site during regular hours. Please reach out to Monica Welch (clothescloset@rrisdpta.org), if you'd like to join their fantastic team!

The items needed most are:

🩳 Boxer Briefs in all MS/HS sizes, especially Mens Large

🧦 Girls Socks in size Medium

🩳👖Little Boys Shorts/Pants in sizes 4T-7

🩳👖Shorts/Pants for HS boys, especially Mens 32-34 waist

👚👕👖🩳👗🧦 Plus, they will always take gently used school clothes for every child and size… they have room on their racks!

Don't have any of the items listed above? They have also developed an Amazon Wishlist that meets many of their on-going needs. Here's the wishlist link: https://bit.ly/SocksUndies

Helpful Tip: Selecting "Monica Welch's gift registry address" at checkout will send the items directly to the Clothes Closet chair, and will save you a delivery trip!

On-going Volunteer Opportunities

Teravista Library 📚📖📘

We are always looking for volunteers to help out in the Library. Whether you can help an hour a month to a couple of hours a week, we'd love to have you! Reach out to our Library Chair, Novina Sreenivasan if you're interested.

Clothes Closet 👕👚👖👟

The Clothes Closet helps Round Rock district families in need and is located at Voigt Elementary School. While there, you will help sort donations, hang clothes, and assist in filling electronic vouchers. Teravista is scheduled to have a representative from our school there to help once a month on Thursdays from 9:30am-11:30am. Sign up for a slot if you are able!
