Your PTA needs you! We are in desperate need of volunteers for PTA President and a Lighthouse Festival Chair.
These positions are NOT filled. Please keep in mind that, while the PTA does a lot for TVE, we cannot continue to do so at this level without a full board.
We need YOU! Your fellow board members are very supportive. The current PTA President and Festival Chair are happy to be resources for their successors.
Come join our wonderful PTA group of parent volunteers! We would love to have you!

President: We are still needing a PTA President for the '25 - '26 school year! Coordinates the work of the officers and committees. Presides at all meetings of the PTA. Appoints the Parliamentarian and board chairs. Authorized signer on Bank Accounts and signs contracts to be approved by the board. Represents the local PTA as a delegate to Council PTA. Servse as an ex-officio member of all committees except the nominating and reconciliation committees.
Lighthouse Festival Chair: Plans and Coordinates the Festival. Main duties of this chair (with the support of the PTA board and subcommittee members) include: acquiring sponsorships and donations, building auction baskets, setting up silent auction, hiring food and ride vendors, organizing the festival and games.
Profit Sharing Chair: Coordinates with Round Rock businesses for a profit sharing event. Promotes the date to attend that restaurant/business to the school. The business then sends the agreed upon share of the profits from that event to the PTA, aiding our fundraising efforts.Â
Clothes Closet Chair: Coordinates with Round Rock ISD Clothes Closet to ensure our campus parents and students are aware of this resource for RRISD. The Clothes Closet is a service project - the Round Rock ISD Council of PTAs provides gently used clothing, as well as new socks and underwear, to Round Rock ISD students.Â
Parliamentarian: The PTA uses a simplified version of Robert's Rules of Order. The Parliamentarian ensures that the proper rules are followed at meetings (ex: voting process) and also completes the short financial review each month (this includes verifying deposits and ensuring no suspicious checks or withdrawals have been issued.
